Full Cloud data is distributed across two separate European sites. Personal data is not transferred outside the European Union.
Backups disconnected from production
After every transfer, Backup Guardian disconnects the backup. Committed restore points use an append-only write path that blocks overwrite and deletion through the backup or administration path.
No backup infrastructure to operate
Encryption and deduplication happen at the source. Oxibox handles storage, geo-redundancy and service operation, from the first protected volume to several petabytes.
A separate HDS option
For healthcare data, an HDS-compliant hosting option is available in France through an HDS-certified hosting partner. Oxibox itself is not presented as an HDS-certified host.
