1. Create your password
Use the link in the account email to set a unique password, then enable two-factor authentication.
2. Download the installer
Select the package for Windows, Linux, macOS, Synology or QNAP. Installer links and supported versions are provided through the customer account or your partner to prevent the use of an obsolete package.
3. Register the machine
On the agent’s first connection, enter the account credentials and a clear machine name. Select Full Cloud, BYOS or Appliance according to the approved architecture.
4. Configure backup
Set retention, the start window, protected sources and report recipients. Confirm the first run in Oxiadmin.
5. Test recovery
A completed backup does not by itself prove recoverability. Schedule a restore test and record the result.
